Malind Nachenin

An Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah. She joins the Salidar Aes Sedai and is elected Sitter in the Salidar Hall. She is younger than Escaralde but older than Aledrin and Kwamesa. She is from Kandor.

Physical Description

She is slightly plump with a pretty face, full lips and dark eyes. (LoC,Ch35) She is round-faced and fierce-eyed. (TPoD,Ch19)

The Salidar Sitters including Malind elect Egwene as their Amyrlin Seat. Malind stands on the first vote as well as the second. (LoC,Ch35)
Egwene and Siuan go over petitions from Sitters Moria Karentanis, Malind Nachenin and Salita Toranes on how to solve their money problems. (TPoD,Ch16)

When Escaralde, Malind and Moria hear that Akarrin and her party have returned, they immediately call the Hall to meet. (CoT,Ch18)
The Sitters meet to hear the report on Shadar Logoth. Malind and Escaralde arrive early, yet they select seats for their Ajahs in the back. Escaralde, Malind and Moria propose an alliance with the Black Tower. They are the first to stand and vote YES. (CoT,Ch19)
Lelaine calls an emergency meeting of the Hall. Aledrin, Delana, Escaralde, Faiselle, Janya, Lyrelle, Kwamesa, Malind, Moria, Romanda, Salita, Samalin and Saroiya attend. Merise and Jahar Narishma make an offer for them to bond forty-seven Asha'man. Malind brings Nacelle to detect his channeling. The Hall votes to accept the offer with Faiselle and Saroiya adamantly opposed. (KoD,Ch23)
