The RUP Artifact: Business Use Case Model for your project can be created using the Rational® Rose™ Rational Unified Process Framework to create the initial model. To ensure proper creation the model should be created from the framework inside Rational® Rose™.
The Business Use-Case Model in Rational® Rose™ is then associated with the Project's Rational® RequisitePro™ project for Requirements Management purposes. The Rational® RequisitePro™ will contain the textual elements of the Business Use-Case Model (defined in Business Use-Case Specifications see Template- Business Use-Case Specification) and associated requirements representing the use cases and other model elements.
The rules and standards for structuring the RUP Artifact: Use-Case Model are defined by the project's Use-Case Modeling Guidelines ( for more information see RUP Artifact: Use-Case Modeling Guidelines).
