An Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah. She remains with the White Tower and is Captain-General of the Green Ajah there. She has three Warders; one of them is Talric. She is Saldaean.

Physical Description

She is short and slim but she has a stately bearing. (KoD,Prologue)

After the White Tower split, Adelorna hand picks Rina as the new Sitter for the Green Ajah. (CoT,Prologue)
At Alviarin's urging, Elaida has Adelorna and Josaine severely punished for keeping angreal. This creates strife between the Ajahs. (ACoS,Ch32)
When the Sitters meet with Elaida to discuss the rebel army, Rubinde follows her orders from Adelorna and supports negotiations. (CoT,Ch21)

When the Seanchan attack the White Tower, Adelorna is collared but Egwene saves her. Adelorna tries to take over the defense but Egwene overrides her. One of her Warders is killed and Talric is wounded. (TGS,Ch40)
Jesse Bilal, Ferane, Serancha, Adelorna and Suana meet to discuss the next Amyrlin. They failed in their plans to control Elaida and to manage the rebellion by sending junior Sitters as moles. Their own choices of too young replacements backfired causing suspicion. They agree to choose an Amyrlin Seat of strength, Egwene. (TGS,Ch43)
