Lord Captain Bertain Gallenne

Lord Captain of Mayene's Winged Guard. He is loyal, but not too smart. He only thinks of the attack, when he thinks at all.

Physical Description

He is gray-haired. He wears his black eyepatch as another man might a plume in his hat. (ACoS,Ch27) He has shoulder length gray hair. (CoT,Ch7) He is of medium height. He sometimes wears a red eyepatch. (TGS,Ch9)

Chronology

• Gallenne and his troops guard Berelain. (ACoS,Ch18)
• Gallenne accompanies Perrin and Berelain to Ghealdan. (ACoS,Ch27)
• Perrin is with a small group, Faile, Aram, Berelain, Annoura, Gallenne, Seonid, her Warders, Edarra and Nevarin, scouting Bethal. Perrin sends Berelain, Annoura and Gallenne to meet with Alliandre. (TPoD,Ch7)
• Berelain, Annoura and Gallenne return with Alliandre and meet with Perrin and Faile. (TPoD,Ch10)
