Hadnan Kadere

Pronunciation: HAHD-nahn kah-DEER

A peddler and a Darkfriend. He is Saldaean. His older sister is Teodora.

Physical Description

He is very heavy, but it is all muscle. He has a hooked beak of a nose and dark, tilted eyes. (TSR,Ch36)

Chronology

Hadnan Kadere becomes a Darkfriend as a boy in Saldaea. He strangles his sister Teodora when she learns what he is. (TFoH,Ch29)
Rand and the Jindo encounter a band of peddlers led by Hadnan Kadere. He is accompanied by Keille Shaogi and a gleeman. Rhuarc angrily tells him they were headed toward Rhuidean, then gives them permission to go to Cold Rocks Hold. Mat buys Kadere's wide brim hat. (TSR,Ch36)
Kadere introduces Rand to Isendre and hints that he has information for sale. (TSR,Ch37)
On the trip to Cold Rocks Hold, Kadere and Isendre watch Rand from their wagon. (TSR,Ch48)

Kadere wonders what is going on when Rand and company arrive at the docks. He is shocked and terrified when Lanfear arrives. Kadere tells Lanfear that Rand is sleeping with Aviendha. In a rage she skins him alive. (TFoH,Ch52)
