A town in northeast Murandy, a little smaller than Baerlon. The town has an ugly, horrible secret at night.

TGS,Ch27 � Mat and his companions ride into Hinderstap to gamble for supplies. At sundown, the townsfolk turn into murderous madmen.
TGS,Ch28 � Mat and Thom return to Hinderstap. Mayor Barlden tells them that this happens to the town every night.
ToM,Ch8 � Mat has been nervous about crowds since Hinderstap.
