Overview
of the Development Case
Topics
This section provides an overview of the contents of the
development case. It places the development case in the context of
the development organization and other, more generic, processes (see Development
Case: Context and Applicability).
It also defines the underlying mechanisms used in the
construction of the development case:
and describes the process architecture adopted.
The process architecture is defined in terms of the
process's lifecycle model, and selection of disciplines (see Development
Case: Life Cycle Model and Disciplines), and is complemented with a
set of sample iteration plans illustrating how the process architecture
adapts over time (see Development
Case: Sample Iteration Plans).
