Amico Nagoyin

An Aes Sedai of the Yellow Ajah. She is actually Black Ajah.

Physical Description

She is the youngest of the Black Ajah who left, about fifteen years older than Elayne and Egwene. (TDR,Ch25) She is slender and pretty with a long neck and pale skin. (TDR,Ch51) She is beautiful, with large, dark eyes. (TSR,Ch5)

Chronology

• Amico Nagoyin, Asne Zeramene, Berylla Naron, Chesmal Emry, Eldrith Jhondar, Falion Bhoda, Ispan Shefar, Jeaine Caide, Joiya Byir, Marillin Gemalphin, Rianna Andomeran and Temaile Kinderode flee the White Tower with Liandrin exposing themselves as Black Ajah. They take several ter'angreal with them. (TDR,Ch13)
• Liandrin, Rianna, Amico Nagoyin and Joiya Byir capture Egwene, Elayne and Nynaeve. (TDR,Ch51)
• Amico guards the cell where Egwene, Elayne and Nynaeve are being held and maintains the shield on them. (TDR,Ch54)
• In Tel'aran'rhiod, Egwene shields Amico. After Mat frees the girls from the cell, Nynaeve knocks Amico unconscious breaking the shield. (TDR,Ch55)
• The girls recover two of the missing ter'angreal, an amber plaque and an iron disc, from Amico and Joiya. (TSR,Ch11)
• Egwene and Nynaeve question Amico and Joiya. Amico claims that Liandrin, Chesmal and Rianna were her only Black Ajah contacts in the White Tower. She claims that she overheard Liandrin tell Temaile that there was something important that could control Rand in Tanchico. (TSR,Ch5)
• Moiraine sends Amico and Joiya back to their cells. (TSR,Ch6)
• Egwene and Nynaeve continue to question Amico and Joiya but learn nothing new. (TSR,Ch9)
• During the Shadowspawn attack, Isam assassinates Amico and Joiya in their cells. Their throats are messily cut and their tongues are nailed to the door. (TSR,Ch12, WH,Ch22)

• TFoH,Ch18 - Liandrin thinks of Berylla Naron as a manipulator and a plotter. This characterization makes it much more likely that she is Blue Ajah, leaving Yellow Ajah for Amico.
• WH,Ch22 - Isam recalls how much he enjoyed killing the two Aes Sedai in the Stone of Tear.
