- Aravine is one of the gai'shain who bring food and clothes to Faile and her party after they are captured. (WH,Ch4)
- Aravine intercedes with Galina, taking up for Maighdin. She knows Faile's true name and pledges herself to Faile. (CoT,Ch9)
- Aravine brings Alvon and Theril to Faile's tent. Theril succeeded in stealing the binder from Therava's tent. (KoD,Ch5)
- The morning of their escape attempt, Faile finds thirty or forty of the gai'shain sworn to her including Aravine waiting outside her tent. (KoD,Ch28)
