Merean tells Moiraine and Siuan that their time is near, so they practice diligently for the test for the shawl. (NS,Ch3)
Merean informs Moiraine of the deaths of her uncle and instructs her to remain in the White Tower for mourning. (NS,Ch5)
Merean assigns Moiraine to rewrite the lists of census names and Siuan to help her. (NS,Ch6)
Merean reprimands Elaida for helping Moiraine and Siuan too much in their practice. (NS,Ch8)
Merean summons Moiraine to her test. (NS,Ch8)
Merean leads her to the basement of the White Tower and the oval ring for the test. (NS,Ch9)
