An Aes Sedai of the Gray Ajah. Her Warder is Leonin. She joins the Salidar Aes Sedai.

Physical Description

Chronology

More than thirty years ago, Meidani and Elaida are pillow-friends as novices, but Elaida breaks off the friendship when she is raised to Accepted. (CoT,Prologue, KoD,Ch24)
Tamra Ospenya summons all Accepted including Meidani to the Oval Lecture Hall where she announces a bounty for women who recently gave birth. (NS,Ch3)
The Accepted including Meidani scramble back to their rooms and prepare to leave the White Tower to take the census. (NS,Ch4)
Sheriam and her group send ten sisters including Meidani from Salidar to spy on Tar Valon and to spread the rumor that the Red Ajah set up Logain. (ACoS,Ch8, TPoD,Ch26)
Zerah Dacan unwillingly exposes Meidani and the other eight spies when questioned by Pevara and Seaine. (TPoD,Ch26)
Walking through the White Tower, Yukiri orders Meidani to renew her friendship with Elaida. They run into Seaine and Bernaile. Yukiri and Seaine dismiss Meidani and Bernaile while they discuss Sitter business. (CoT,Prologue)
Understanding her true purpose, Elaida responds to Meidani's attempts to renew their friendship and invites her to daily visits. (KoD,Ch2)
Meidani is visiting with Elaida when Tarna comes to report. Meidani seems very nervous. (KoD,Ch25)
Egwene is surprised to find Meidani at dinner when she attends Elaida. She orders Meidani to summon her for lessons. (TGS,Ch2)
Egwene coerces Meidani into revealing the Sitters� cabal. They walk in on Doesine, Saerin, Seaine and Yukiri. She convinces them she is legitimate and charges them with restoring relationships between the Ajahs. (TGS,Ch12)
Meidani comes to Egwene�s room to report on Elaida and the Hall. Egwene instructs her to get rid of Verin�s body. (TGS,Ch39)
