An Aes Sedai of the White Ajah. One of the searchers sent out by Tamra Ospenya to find the Dragon Reborn. Her Warder is Andro.

Physical Description

She is tall with silver-gray hair a thrusting chin and startling blue eyes. (NS,Ch5) She is about three hundred years old. (NS,Ch17)

Meilyn, Andro and Elaida visit the camp where Moiraine and Siuan are taking census. (NS,Ch5)
Tamra sends urgent messages to Kerene Nagashi, Aisha Raveneos, Meilyn Arganya, Valera Gorovni and Ludice Daneen. (NS,Ch7)
Meilyn lectures Moiraine on Willim of Maneches and his influence on Shivena Kayenzi. None of the five searchers seems in a hurry to leave. (NS,Ch8)
One by one, Meilyn, Kerene, Aisha, Ludice and Valera leave the White Tower to begin their hunt for the Dragon Reborn. (NS,Ch14)
Meilyn is murdered by the Black Ajah. (NS,Ch18)

NS,Ch3 � Moiraine worries about missing her private lessons with Larelle and Meilyn.
NS,Ch5 � Meilyn is White Ajah.
NS,Ch5 � Meilyn is even stronger than Elaida.
NS,Ch12 � After instructions on Aes Sedai protocol, Moiraine and Siuan understand that Elaida defers to Meilyn because Meilyn is stronger.
NS,Ch17 - After Cadsuane, Meilyn and Kerene are the strongest Aes Sedai in the last 600 years.
NS,Ch18 � Wanting a private talk, Siuan hides under Meilyn's bed. She never returns to her room, but the next morning Chesmal Emry announces that she died in her sleep.
NS,Ch18 � Siuan tells Moiraine that all five of Tamra's searchers are dead, murdered by the Black Ajah.
NS,Ch23 � There have been some mysterious deaths, but Moiraine and Siuan do not see how they could be connected to Meilyn, Tamra and the Black Ajah.
