Caire din Gelyn Running Wave

Windfinder to Wavemistress Pelanna. She is sister to Tebreille din Gelyn South Wind and mother of Talaan din Gelyn.

Physical Description

She is more than handsome with almost black eyes, a straight nose and a strong chin. She wears eight earrings. She is slightly taller than her sister. (TPoD,Ch5) She is haughty and wears four earrings in each ear. (WH,Ch11)

Chronology

• Twenty Windfinders including Caire accompany Nynaeve and Lan to the Tarasin Palace. (ACoS,Ch37)
• With Mat's ta'veren influence Renaile agrees that the Windfinders will accompany Elayne and Nynaeve anywhere they chose to use the Bowl of the Winds. (ACoS,Ch39)
• At the Tarasin Palace stableyard, Caire and the other Windfinders ride through Aviendha's gateway to the farm. (TPoD,Ch1)
